How common is erectile dysfunction?
Many men experience erection problems; in some cases they are mild and not problematic, while in other cases erection problems last longer and are more frequent.
Every tenth man between the ages of 18 and 40 and every second man between the ages of 40 and 70 experiences erection problems.
This, however, does not mean that the disorder affects every other 40-year-old man. The frequency of erectile dysfunction increases with advancing age, and that is the reason why mostly older men are affected by this condition.
